Practice History
Our dental practice has been part of the Grand Rapids community for decades. The practice was originally located on Boston Street in Grand Rapids and owned by Dr. Cornelius Doezema. Dr. C Philip Doezema took over the practice from Dr. Cornelius Doezema in 1980. In 1997, Dr. C Philip Doezema moved the practice to 2003 Burton St SE.
In 2015, the practice adopted the name, “Grand Rapids Dentistry” in anticipation of Dr. Doezema’s retirement.
In early 2016, Dr. Stephanie Sakowicz joined the practice and Dr. Doezema retired.
In 2016, the practice also undertook a number of updates including a renovation to the space and a transition to digital patient records and digital x-rays.
In July 2018, Grand Rapids Dentistry moved to its current location at 2100 Raybrook SE to better serve patients.
In October 2019, Dr. Carol Baldwin joined Grand Rapids Dentistry!
